ScanScape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local grocery and other stores to scan product barcodes and collect data weekly. The role supports major retailers and varies with workload across stores and seasons.

Training and AI-assisted resume screening are part of the process. Applicants should be 18+, have a valid driver’s license, reliable Wi‑Fi, and be comfortable using a mobile scanning app.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products.
• Lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Access to reliable Wi‑Fi.
• Tech savvy.
• HS diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a downloadable app on your mobile phone to scan barcodes in store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of the products you scan each week.
• Complete Display Scanning across the entire store weekly.
• Support Custom Projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours of work during weeks with higher demand.
