The Opportunity

The Part-Time Retail Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Retail Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing on merchandise, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed by management.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies, performing basic bookkeeping duties.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and coworkers.
• Ability to understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
• Effectively communicate information in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
