Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays and overall store appearance
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure associates follow procedures
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates
• Maintain a positive, safe environment with professional interactions with customers and staff
• Keep store clean, restocked bathrooms, floors swept/mopped, trash removed, areas neat and presentable
