Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our West Des Moines store to support daily operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise replenishment, and adherence to company policies to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or related environment preferred
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Maintain store areas to company standards and ensure safety policies are followed
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the store and fixtures
