Restaurant Supervisor at a country club plays a critical role in overseeing the daily operations of the dining area. Their responsibilities typically include:
Supervise, schedule, and manage waitstaff, bussers, bar staff and hosts.
Train staff on service standards, country club policies, and proper dining etiquette.
Ensure team members provide excellent customer service.
Ensure a high level of member and guest satisfaction.
Handle member/guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
Oversee special requests, dietary restrictions, and ensure personalized service.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food service.
Communicate any special orders or dietary needs.
Oversee the flow of service to ensure efficient delivery.
Ensure tables are set up properly for service, including table linens, cutlery, glassware, and décor.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in planning and executing dining events, private parties, and banquets.
Understanding of event planning and execution, particularly in coordinating the dining aspects for banquets, weddings and private parties. Serve as the day of event point of contact for the event coordinator/company.
Monitor and manage dining room supplies, such as napkins, cutlery, and menus.
May assist Director of Food & Beverage in managing dining room budgets and controlling costs.
Track and report sales or daily operations as required.
Foster a positive work environment to encourage teamwork and collaboration.
Set clear expectations and provide feedback to staff members.
All other duties as assigned based on business demands.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
