Job summary

Churchill Downs Inc. in New Hampshire operates the Rockingham Grand Casino and is seeking a Part-Time Concession Attendant to join our team.

You will be responsible for handling food prep orders, providing exceptional guest service and processing cash transactions in a fast-paced casino environment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with one year concession experience preferred and the ability to obtain a gaming license.

Qualifications

• Experience in concession operations and serving guests.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Comfort with food preparation and maintaining cleanliness of equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
• Greet guests approaching service area.
• Responsible for preparing and selling all food items on the menu and handling all cash transactions.
• Responsible for the cleaning and sanitizing of all food service equipment used to prepare and serve the menu items.
• Must be able to operate all equipment in the stand.
• Maintain current knowledge of daily menus and prices
• Ensure proper stock of product and supplies needed for service.
• Responsible for opening and closing inventories.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Performs clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
• Standing 8-10 Hours.
• Other duties assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of concession stand operations.
• Maintaining interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.

• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s Service Standards.
• Able to interact with internal and external guests in a friendly/fast manner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One-year concession experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
