Cadient, LLC in Pine Bush, NY is seeking caring people for rewarding part-time, one-to-one respite positions, providing services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. As Waiver Respite staff you will provide 1:1 temporary care/supervision, create a safe environment, and offer social and community activities.

After-school, early evening and weekend hours are available, with starting pay $19.55 to $21.51 per hour and potential shift differentials.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS driver’s license and a reliable vehicle.
• Experience providing care to individuals with IDD is a plus.
• Excellent time-management and independent work skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide 1:1 respite care for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Support families by supervising and engaging the person in activities.
• Maintain a safe environment during visits and document interactions as needed.

We are seeking caring people for rewarding part-time, one-to-one positions, providing respite services for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Waiver Respite staff will provide 1:1 temporary care/supervision of person with special needs, which will p r ovide theparent/caregiver a break from everyday routines supportingthe person.

Staff will provide a safe environment and may include social and community activities.

Employees who work for Waiver Respite should be flexible and self-motivated. Time management skills are definitely important in this position which requires a great deal of independence.

After-school, early evening and weekend hours are available for Waiver Respite.

HOURS:

(1) 5hours per week

STARTING SALARY: $ 19.55 to $ 21.51 per hour, with additional shift differentials as applicable

• Acceptable NYS Driver's License and a reliable vehicle are preferred
