Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in respiratory care.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (LRCP) in Arkansas.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred.
• ACCS, AE-C, CPFT, NPS, RPFT, SDS credentials encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe and effective patient care addressing age specific variations.
• Communicates patient care plans effectively with team members.
• Recognizes emergency situations and intervenes appropriately.
• Assists in diagnosis, treatment, and management of pulmonary disorders.
• Provides feedback and reports to improve patient care and work environment.
• Collects and analyzes sputum, blood, and breath specimens and measures lung capacity.
• Participates in performance improvement and research activities.
• Maintains stock and requests non-stock items; assists with cost management.
• Participates in committees and hospital expansion projects to support RCS care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Associate Degree or Equivalent Experience

Adult Critical Care Specialty Credential (ACCS) - NBRC
