Job summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a Part-Time Lab Instructor for the Respiratory Care Program. This on-site role supports hands-on lab instruction and assessment within the Respiratory program.

The ideal candidate has an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care with RRT credentials and at least three years of clinical experience; a Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Care with RRT; minimum 3 years clinical experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.
• Commitment to inclusive learning and working with diverse student groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist with laboratory exercises and assessments.
• Instruct students in-person in the laboratory setting.
• Organize Respiratory supplies and equipment.
• Set up and take down laboratory demonstrations with direction from program faculty.
• Assess student progress in laboratory via skill competency check-offs and simulations.
• Assist in maintaining documents for CoARC accreditation.
• Stay current with advances in Respiratory Therapy technology and instructional practices.
• Communicate and collaborate with Program Director, Director of Clinical Education, and Dean to support department and college success.
• Participate in department and college meetings and initiatives.
