• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification at time of application and maintenance thereafter.
• Verifiable part-time or volunteer experience pro-rated toward full-time requirements.

• Sets up, operates, cleans and stores respiratory equipment.
• Records clinical information in patient records.
• Manages airways and assesses tracheostomy sites and related care.
• Provides respiratory support using non-invasive devices.
• Sets up ventilators and assesses patients for airway management.
• Educates patients and plans home respiratory care when needed.
• Responds to medical emergencies and performs CPR.
• Delivers verbal reports to oncoming shifts and participates in discharge planning.
