Qualifications

• Delivery of training using adult learning principles.
• Experience as a foster/adoptive parent preferred; minimum of two years with a successful placement.
• Master’s degree in social work or related field with direct practice experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with five years of direct service experience.

Responsibilities

• Co-Conduct pre-service training curriculum for resource families, ensuring alignment with adult learning principles.
• Co-Facilitates In-Service training for resource families to ensure hours match guidelines.
• Conduct CPR/First Aid Training and maintain certifications for approved families.
• Assist with intake and matching processes for clients referred to the treatment resource care program.
• Maintain case files per licensing standards and produce reports such as incident and home studies.
• Participate in Quality Improvement processes and represent the regional center on committees.
• Develop and implement an ongoing retention plan for resource families; assist with family recruitment.
• Perform information sessions across locations to recruit potential resource parents.
