Job summary

BlueStar Resort & Golf is seeking a part-time Personal Trainer at Rio Verde, AZ. The role involves creating personalized exercise plans, training clients safely, and promoting a full facility experience.

You will report to the Spa & Fitness Director and work flexible evenings and weekends to support members' fitness goals. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, 1 year customer service and PT experience, and certifications from ACE/AFFA/ASCM/NSCA/NSPA, plus CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• One year of customer service and personal trainer experience preferred.
• Certified as a Personal Trainer from ACE, AFFA, ASCM, NSCA, or NSPA.
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED certification as required by the Club.
• Computer literate and able to write client notes and reports.
• Ability to lift 45-pound weight plates and lead a class.

Responsibilities

• Model and maintain BlueStar standards and facility policies.
• Monitor facility safety and ensure area is secure for members and guests.
• Design personalized exercise programs based on client goals.
• Provide training and safe equipment usage instructions.
• Build client base and sales for Personal Training packages.
• Maintain client records and session notes; schedule adherence.
