Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3 years transportation experience, plus 1–2 years with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Option for high school dropouts: 5 years transport exp. with ID and reading/writing ability.
• Valid Class C driver’s license with auto insurance; pass drug/alcohol tests.
• Safe driving certification; no driving convictions; no license suspensions or revocations.
• Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Transport contract work to/from contractor sites daily and supervise loading/unloading.
• Pickup/drop off Agency mail including Pony from satellite locations.
• Transport residential consumers to/from program and medical appointments; accompany to outings.
• Maintain vehicle upkeep.
