Job summary

Daybreak Independent Services, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional/Driver for a part-time AMAP role at a residential group home in the Bronx. Location: 4244 Vireo, Bronx, NY 10470. Salary: $18–$19 per hour.

You will implement Individual Service Plans and document progress, helping residents gain ADL independence. HS diploma required; 1–2 years in human/health services preferred. Driver's license required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in human/health services preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to develop rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Driver's license is required.

Responsibilities

• Implement Individual Service Plans and document progress.
• Support residents to achieve functional independence in ADLs.
• Advocate for residents and maintain familiarity with individual needs.
