Job summary

Clearbrook is hiring a Residential Counselor for Hunters Ridge CILA in Hoffman Estates, IL. This part-time role supports adults with developmental disabilities through daily living, training, and community activities, following individual program plans.

The position requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and being 21 or older. The schedule is Sunday 3:00pm–Monday 9:00am (18 hrs/week) with paid training and an hourly rate of $21.35.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.
• Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.
• Assist clients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.
• Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.
