Job summary

Clearbrook is seeking a part-time Residential Counselor for Strathmore CILA in Buffalo Grove, IL. The role involves direct active treatment, helping clients with daily living skills, and supporting access to community resources.

Must be 21+, high school diploma, valid driver’s license, and commit to 26 hours per week, including Sunday 7am to Monday 9am. Paid training is provided, and Clearbrook is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the direct provision of active treatment to the clients including training and assistance in all areas addressed in the individual program plans of the clients to whom she/he is assigned.
• Teach and provide the support necessary for the individual’s use of community resources.
• Assist clients with daily living activities including (but not limited to) personal hygiene, feeding & housekeeping.
• Assist clients in all areas of social and recreational program activities for the day.
