Job Summary

The Resident Advisor is responsible for monitoring the building premises and acting as a resource for residents in the Transitional Haven Program. The hours are 3‑11 pm. This role is 16 hours/week every other week. Holidays are required.

Essential Functions

• Monitor/greet people as they enter/exit the building
• Maintain daily shift logs
• Conduct building security checks twice per shift
• Contact residents and CYF regarding curfew
• Provide crisis intervention as needed
• Notify Transitional Haven Program management and the authorities of safety‑sensitive situations
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education And Experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Office and apartment building environment.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use a computer, and be able to communicate using a computer and phone/smart device.
• The employee frequently is required to walk around and inspect the work environment.
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
