Job summary

Penn State University – College of Medicine’s Pathology Core Reference Lab (PCRL) is seeking a dynamic part-time research technologist to support core research activities. The role involves automated immunoassay work and LC-MS/MS analyses, with emphasis on accuracy, meticulous records, and teamwork.

The candidate should hold a BS, MS, MT, MLT, PhD or equivalent, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with CLIA, CAP and FDA regulatory requirements. Flexible in-person hours apply.

Qualifications

• Must have BS, MS, MT, MLT, PhD or other doctoral degree.
• Experience with CLIA, CAP and FDA regulatory requirements preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills required.
• Team-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support research core by performing immunoassay and LC-MS/MS analyses.
• Maintain meticulous records and ensure accurate pipetting.
