The Fleishman Root Agroecology Lab at Penn State is seeking research assistants to support ongoing projects on roots, soil properties, and plant health. You will collect plant and soil samples, perform laboratory analyses, and help with data entry and experiment setup.

The Root Agroecology Lab at Penn State is looking for research assistant(s) for ongoing lab projects. The Fleishman Root Agroecology Lab seeks to understand the relationship between roots and soil properties in order to clarify the dual role of roots as: 1) supporters of plant health and 2) shapers of key soil functions.
Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
