Job summary

Cedars-Sinai in the Los Angeles area invites applications for a Part-Time Research Lab Assistant I within the Applied Genomics, Computation & Translational Core. You will support routine cleaning, inventory, and basic lab tasks under supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required; able to perform routine cleaning and maintenance.
• Able to follow safety standards and use specialized equipment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain lab areas; wash and sterilize glassware; operate autoclaves.
• Order and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain laboratory equipment records.
• Report to Lab Supervisor/Research Associate III and assist others as needed.
• Participate in research studies and perform basic lab techniques under PI guidance.
