Job summary

Chatham University is seeking a student work-study role focused on supporting farm operations and sustainability reporting. The position involves coordinating with campus staff, maintaining farm data, and preparing annual reports on harvests and sustainability.

You will also help update the farm website and newsletter, create outreach materials for events and student projects, and explore grants and educational opportunities at local and national levels. Approximately 10 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and coordinate with director and farm manager
• Clean and manage data gathered on the farm (seeding and harvest, maple, integrated pest management, good agricultural practice, organic)
• Create annual harvest research reports, sustainability reports, and other requested data reports as needed
• Update farm website and newsletter
• Generate outreach materials for semester events and student projects
• Research grants and educational opportunities at the local, state, and national level
