Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Part-Time Research Data Associate in New York, NY. The role focuses on providing data and clinical research support for trials under supervision, interfacing with various departments and potentially patients and families.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate's degree with related experience; a Bachelor's degree in science/health fields is preferred. Monday 8am-5pm work is required and a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus one year related experience; computer literate with good interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in science, public health, health education or a related field; prior health care/research experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with patient/subject and families in a courteous and professional manner.
• Gathers, properly packages, stores and transfers slides, samples and other materials; coordinates shipments.
• May complete assessments on study subjects per protocol and follow-through with items and patients; may draw blood or take vital signs as trained.
• Ensure protocol compliance and follow-up with eligibility criteria and documentation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of IRB requirements and regulatory documents.
• Input data into the database and assist in data consolidation for reporting to sponsors and regulatory bodies.
