Augusta University’s MCG Center for Telehealth seeks a part-time Research Assistant to support research activities, regulatory tasks, and data management for faculty affiliated with the department.

The position involves participant recruitment, data entry into OnCore/RedCap, IRB support, and daily research coordination across platforms, with a focus on accuracy and compliance in a busy academic setting. Shift: Days; M-F. Salary range $17.88–$21.92 per hour; funding dependent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and experience in a research, basic science or clinical setting particularly clinical trials research.
• OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, cell biology or other natural, life, health care or materials science directly related to the research area to which the position is assigned and a minimum of three years' experience in a research, basic science or clinical setting particularly clinical trials research.

Responsibilities

• RESEARCH ACTIVITIES: Assist research team and center director with research activities via participant recruitment, consent, and enrollment.
• Assist with data collection, spreadsheet development and maintenance, initiation and maintenance of databases, entries into OnCore, RedCap, industry-sponsored, locally generated, and other relevant research/data management systems.
• Completion of research source documents and case report forms.
• Database review and revision. Medical records requests, review and abstraction.
