Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between patients, physicians, and pharmacy teams to facilitate smooth prescription access.
• Verify patient insurance details, prescription eligibility, and prior authorization requirements.
• Assist patients with medication refills, billing inquiries, and coverage verification.
• Process electronic or telephonic requests for medication approvals and coordinate with insurance providers when needed.
• Document all patient interactions accurately in the system while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Resolve patient concerns professionally and escalade complex issues to the appropriate team.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in data entry and patient communications.
• Provide compassionate and patient-centered support, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelors degree in healthcare or pharmacy-related field preferred.
