A relatively new registered investment advisor with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is seeking a part time Chief Compliance Officer to help implement, oversee and manage the compliance program with laws, regulations, and internal policies. This hire will work on SEC compliance manual updates, perform the annual review, coordinating the annual training, and gathering information for the ADV and Form PF filings. Other responsibilities will include coordinating compliance legal filings with their law firm, working on ESG and DEI policies AML/KYC matters and FINRA work. This would be a part-time role with flexibility in schedule and the ability to work remotely. Role will likely be paid hourly as a 1099 on the Company payroll (although monthly pay might work as well). Pay rate will be highly dependent on the individual candidate’s experience and expertise, but will likely be in the $100 - $300/hr. range.
