Job summary

UF Health Rehab Center - Magnolia Parke in Gainesville, FL is seeking a part-time Rehab Aide to support therapists in inpatient or outpatient settings. You will help transport and assist patients, maintain and clean equipment, prep supplies, and keep therapy areas organized.

This role includes clerical tasks, Joint Commission readiness, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality care to patients with orthopedic, neurological, or pelvic health needs.

Qualifications

• Prior patient care experience in a health care setting desirable.
• Experience as a student, working or volunteering in a rehab setting preferred.
• Computer skills and efficient use of Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist therapists with patient care as directed, including transporting and assisting with exercises.
• Maintain and clean equipment and treatment areas and prep inventories for therapy sessions.
• Assist with Joint Commission preparedness and clerical tasks as assigned.
