Job summary

UF Health Rehab Center Magnolia Parke in Gainesville, FL invites applications for a Rehab Aide. The role supports therapists and therapy assistants in inpatient or outpatient rehab, maintains treatment areas, preps supplies, and assists with transport and patient care as directed.

This position is part-time, benefits eligible, with Mon-Fri schedule; the Rehab Aide collaborates with clinical staff, participates in Joint Commission readiness, and helps ensure smooth therapy sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Pursuing allied health courses desirable.
• Prior patient care experience in a health care setting desirable.
• Experience as a student/volunteer in rehab preferred.
• Computer skills including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and cleans equipment and treatment areas.
• Preps and inventories supplies for therapy sessions.
• Assists with Joint Commission preparedness.
• Completes clerical tasks as assigned.
• Assists with patient care including transporting, transferring, lifting, stand-by assistance.
