Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Scranton, PA, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse for direct patient care in an inpatient clinical setting. You will perform assessments, plan and implement care, evaluate outcomes, and educate patients while coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

Job description

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care in an inpatient setting, adhering to established standards of nursing practice. Responsibilities include assessments, planning, implementing, and evaluating care, as well as educating patients and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

Key Duties:

• Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic procedures following policies.
• Perform assessments within scope of practice and unit standards.
• Address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients and families.
• Develop and coordinate care plans, including discharge planning and education.
• Evaluate intervention effectiveness and modify plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with physicians and team members, delegate tasks based on skill and patient needs.
• Problem-solve equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Contribute to quality and safety programs and unit decision‑making processes.

Qualifications & Skills:
