Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for our Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and help improve residents’ quality of life in line with their goals.

The role typically schedules around 24 hours per week and requires a strong foundation in nutrition, regulatory standards, and education for patients, residents, and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field required.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• CDR national exam passed or eligibility per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• 75 hours CE every five years required.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to establish procedures and policies for dining service and nutrition.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement programs.

Education

Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field

Master's degree in Nutrition or related field

Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility

Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years

Licensed or certified, per state requirements

Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights

Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics
