Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team at Holy Redeemer Health System Meadowbrook Campus in Meadowbrook, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, initiate interventions, and support quality of life aligned with patient goals.

Typically scheduled 24 hours per week. Responsibilities include guiding the care team, adhering to practice standards, coordinating with departments, and contributing to ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, in accordance with the CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving relating to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participate in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
