Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic part-time Registered Dietitian to join Apostolic Christian Village in Rittman, OH. This 16-hour-per-week role focuses on individualized nutrition care and medical nutrition therapy within a team setting.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, counseling patients, documenting progress, collaborating with the foodservice team, and providing education. Requirements: Bachelor’s in Nutrition Dietetics, RD license, state licensure, and ServSafe

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Dietetics from an approved/accredited program.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) through the CDR and licensed to practice in the state of work.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nutrition services.
• Effective written and verbal communication with patients, team members, and staff.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and document an individualized nutrition intervention plan.
• Provide timely follow-up and documentation of care.
• Evaluate outcomes of medical nutrition therapy and adjust as needed.
• Collaborate with foodservice team to ensure conformance to diet prescriptions.
• Provide nutrition counseling for individuals and groups.
