Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Registered Dietitian (Part-time, 16 hours/week) at Apostolic Christian Village in Rittman, OH. The position focuses on nutrition intervention, counseling, and collaboration with the foodservice team to meet diet prescriptions.

Ideal candidates hold an RD with a Bachelor’s in Nutrition Dietetics and Ohio licensure; ServSafe is preferred. You will document plans, follow up, and provide education to individuals and groups while maintaining records and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Dietetics from an accredited program.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) licensed to practice in the state.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nutrition services.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Experience with word processing and spreadsheets.
• ServSafe Certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and document an individualized nutrition intervention plan.
• Provide timely follow-up and documentation.
• Use assessment methods considering age-specific, cultural and ethnic needs.
• Evaluate progress and adjust nutrition care as indicated.
• Collaborate with foodservice team to conformance to diet prescriptions.
• Provide nutrition counseling for individuals and groups.
• Participate in community projects and education as needed.
• Conduct in services and educational presentations.
• Maintain productivity, time management and task prioritization.
• Maintain accurate daily clinical records and billing information.
