Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs, intervene to maintain status, and improve residents’ quality of life, typically about 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities include educating staff and residents, adhering to dietetics standards, collaborating with other departments, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives while supporting work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) required.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients, residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to establish procedures and policies for dining and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
