Elior North America is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join its healthcare team serving Franklin Medical Center and Richardson Medical Center in Louisiana. The role focuses on assessing nutritional needs, implementing interventions, and enhancing patients’ quality of life.

Schedule: 8–12 hours weekly. Located in Winnsboro and Rayville areas, you’ll work onsite with a supportive team and opportunities for growth within a family of hospitality brands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field required.
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national exam administered by the CDR or meets eligibility requirements.
• Completes continuing education hours every five years (75 hours).
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide nutritional expertise to the healthcare team and educate patients/residents and staff.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards of practice and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to develop procedures and policies related to dining and nutrition.
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced Part-Time Registered Dietitian to our healthcare team near West Monroe,LA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals.* This position will be scheduled 8 - 12 hours per week, supporting Franklin Medical Center and Richardson Medical Center. *

What you'll be doing:

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.

What we're looking for:

Must-haves:

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.

Compensation Range:

• $35.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience
