Elior North America’s Cura Hospitality brand seeks a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to join the team in Dodge City, KS. The RD identifies nutritional needs, initiates interventions, and enhances quality of life aligned with patient goals. Schedule is 9 hours weekly, typically Tuesdays, with flexibility.

The role emphasizes education, regulatory compliance, collaboration with dining services, and continuous quality improvement in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced Part-Time Registered Dietitian to our Cura Hospitality team in Dodge City, KS. As a Registered Dietitian with Cura Hospitality, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals. * This position will be scheduled 9 hours per week, typically on Tuesdays, but flexible. *
