Job summary

Elior North America, a family of hospitality brands, is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for Meadowbrook, PA. You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and improve patient quality of life, typically ~24 hours per week on-site.

Responsibilities include education, adherence to standards, cross-department collaboration, and participation in quality improvement initiatives. Requires RD credentials, CE hours, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (or related field) required.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• Passed a national exam by CDR or eligible per AND requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR guidelines.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments and care planning.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add an experienced Part-Time Registered Dietitian to our healthcare team in Meadowbrook, PA. As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents, initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain individuals nutritional status, and enhance quality of life consistent with patient’s/resident’s goals. *Typically scheduled 24 hours per week.*

What you'll be doing:

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies, and in problem solving as it relates to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (Prior to 2024) or related field
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics requirements for eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education hours every five years, in accordance with the CDR, utilizing the professional portfolio development process.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards specific to comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others, specifically pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

• Experience working in healthcare or long-term care.

Compensation Range:
