We are seeking an experienced RDA with general dentistry experience.

Job Description:

The Dental Assistant performs a variety of duties to promote quality dental care and maintain a safe, low-stress environment. Responsibilities include assisting the doctor, educating patients on dental care, effective communication with patients (and parents if the patient is a child), and adhering to universal precautions and OSHA requirements. This is a part-time position.

Dental Assistant Requirements:

• Registered Dental Assistant License
• CPR Certification
• At least 2 years of experience

Dental Assistant Job Duties:

• Set up and seat patients, ensuring treatment rooms are properly stocked, cleaned, and prepared. Provide excellent patient care following established protocols.
• Accurately document patient notes, initials, and complete necessary forms, including consents, medical clearances, and prescriptions.
• Assist the doctor chairside with procedures cheerfully and efficiently.
• Manage medical records, ensuring all are received and appropriately released when needed.
• Use appropriate materials and instruments during treatments, following OSHA and safety protocols. Take radiographs accurately to minimize retakes and radiation exposure.
• Ensure treatment plans and charges are correctly assigned, including discounts when applicable.
