Job summary

Harbor is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to join the Port Sylvania ABA Clinic as a contingent, first-shift role with a maximum of 20 hours per week. The RBT will provide services to clients across age groups under supervision, ensuring quality documentation and ISP development.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree (or 3 years’ experience), completion of RBT training in 60 days, BACB RBT exam within 6 months, and CPR/NCI/CPI certifications within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field, or 3 years relevant experience.
• Must complete RBT training within 60 days of hire.
• Must pass BACB RBT exam within 6 months of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word.
• Must demonstrate basic competencies within 90 days of hire.
• CPR/First Aid and NCI/CPI certifications within 90 days of employment.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of personal auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality and completeness of the clinical record.
• Develops and updates ISP for each client in coordination with supervisor.
• Accurate and timely documentation including ISPs, DPS logs, incident reports and other required forms.
• Types clinical documentation in Harbor’s standard format and system.
• Fulfills or exceeds unit expectations for billable services.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related behavioural/mental health field

High school diploma with 3 years relevant experience
