Job summary

Harbor is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join the Port Sylvania ABA Clinic. This full-time, first-shift role supports individuals with mental health needs across ages, delivering evidence-based behavioral services and documentation with Harbor and subsidiaries.

You’ll develop ISP plans, maintain compliant records, and collaborate with supervisors to deliver compassionate care in a dynamic clinical setting. Training and certifications are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral/mental health field is required, or a high school diploma with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Must complete RBT training course within 60 days of hire.
• Must pass BACB RBT exam within 6 months of hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and basic computer use.
• Must demonstrate basic competencies within 90 days of hire.
• If applicable, 20 hours CEUs every 24 months for non-licensed staff.
• Valid driver’s license with insurability.
• CPR/First Aid and CPI/NCI within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality and completeness of clinical records.
• Develop and update ISP for each client in coordination with supervisor.
• Document services accurately and timely (notes, ISPs, DPS logs, reports).
• Type clinical documentation in Harbor’s approved format.
• Fulfills unit expectations when providing billable services.
• Provide CPST/ TBS services and group activities as required.
• Coordinate evaluations and assessments with internal/external providers.
• Assist clients in accessing essential community resources.
