Silver Stars Gymnastics & Fitness in Silver Spring, MD seeks an energetic Recreational Gymnastics Coach for a part-time role. You will teach movement and gymnastics fundamentals to children in a positive, engaging environment, focusing on skill development, coordination, and confidence.

You'll lead fun, structured lessons for ages from preschool to beginner/intermediate, ensure safety, and communicate with parents and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in gymnastics, dance, sports, or educational settings.
• Knowledge of basic gymnastics skills and progressions (USAG experience helpful).
• Positive attitude and ability to manage a group of young children.
• Dependable and team-oriented.
• Willing to train the right candidate if gymnastics experience is limited.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Coach recreational gymnastics classes for children (preschool to beginner/intermediate).
• Deliver fun, structured lessons focused on skill development, coordination, and confidence.

Position Overview

We are looking for an energetic, reliable, and enthusiastic Recreational Gymnastics Coach to join our team. This is a part-time position, ideal for individuals who enjoy working with kids and have a passion for teaching movement and gymnastics fundamentals in a positive and engaging way. This position is open to anyone who is open to learning about gymnastics and enthusiastic about fitness! If you love working with kids and are passionate about being a part of the health and wellness journey of a child's development this is for you!

Compensation

• Hourly pay starting at $17.65-$30/hourdepending on experience
