Job summary

Carol Stream Park District is seeking a part-time evening/weekend manager on duty to help run park district facilities and events, bringing leadership to a dynamic team in a changing environment. This role requires strong customer service and the ability to coordinate programs and staff during evening and weekend hours.

Must be able to work 4:30pm-9:15pm on weekdays and weekends, with opportunities to learn recreation management behind the scenes.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years recreation or customer service experience.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
• Capable of independent problem-solving, proactive decision making, and able to confidently direct employees, participants, parents, and spectators.
• Strong leadership and organizations skills.
• A valid Illinois driver's license is necessary.
• CPR and First Aid certification will be required and provided.
• Must successfully pass a post offer drug test and driver's abstract.
• Must successfully pass a background check.
• Minimum Age: 18

Responsibilities

• Monitoring programs, events and operations of park district facilities and parks.
• Acting as the evening and weekend manager on duty, responsible for responding to questions or concerns.
