Job summary

City of Mobile is seeking an entry-level Recreation Leader I to support activities at playgrounds, parks or recreation centers. This is a part-time position with a pay rate of $16.39 per hour. The eligible list will be used to fill part-time vacancies.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), preferably some recreational or related experience; a valid driver’s license is required; medical/physical standards apply and the appointee bears the exam cost.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a standard senior high school, or the successful completion of the GED, and preferably some recreational or related work experience either as a trainee or volunteer; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
