Job summary

Instructors will assist with planning, supervising, and facilitating activities such as pickleball, toddler play time, hikes, and events, provide a safe and engaging environment, and collaborate with the Recreation Specialist on safety and program improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and leading activities is valuable.
• Prior experience with coordinating recreation programs is beneficial.
• Ability to supervise and facilitate a range of recreation activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and organizing recreational activities and special events.
• Supervise and monitor scheduled recreational activities and special events.
• Conduct necessary setup and takedown of equipment and materials.
• Provide a safe, fun, and supportive learning environment for all participants.
• Communicate with Recreation Specialist regarding concerns or questions, including safety and improvements.
• Maintain and organize equipment; inspect areas for safety and cleanliness.
