Job summary

Haltom City Recreation Center seeks an adaptable part-time staff member to manage daily front-desk and facility duties. You will monitor the gym, handle registrations and fee collections, and assist with class setup and event support.

The schedule ranges across mornings, afternoons, evenings, and some Saturdays, totaling 15–19 hours weekly. Applicants should have a high school diploma, at least six months of customer-facing experience, a valid Texas driver's license, and CPR/First Aid

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months experience providing one-on-one contact with customers/patrons.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain certification required.
• Valid Texas Driver's License required.
• Bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor gym and facility usage; issue identifications, collect fees, provide program information.
• Prepare classrooms and gyms for programs and classes; arrange tables, chairs, scoreboard, bleachers, benches.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of gyms, rooms, and control room.
• Answer phones; address inquiries and direct issues to appropriate staff.
• Stay informed on schedules, events, programs, and city contacts.
• Assist with special events as designated by Supervisor or Director.
