Genesis HealthCare, Inc. in Albany, Alabama, is seeking an Activity Assistant for a part-time schedule (Mon, Wed, Fri 10:00 AM–4:30 PM, and every other weekend 9:30 AM–1:30 PM) to enrich the lives of our patients and residents through engaging activities.

You will plan and implement recreation programs, document attendance, and join care plan meetings as needed. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential to support safety and well-being in a compassionate team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engaging activities for patients/residents.
• Document attendance and participation in recreation programs.
• Attend care plan meetings as needed.
