Job summary

Silverado Newport Mesa is seeking a warm, organized receptionist to welcome residents, families, and guests. This part-time role blends hospitality with essential front desk duties, including phone support, check-in assistance, mail processing, and clerical tasks.

You’ll work AM shifts (Friday to Monday), maintain records, and support a compassionate memory-care community. Prior customer service and basic computer skills are valued, along with reliability and a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience interacting with the public via phone and in person.
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication with a focus on exceptional customer service.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Active role: walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls professionally and direct them appropriately.
• Greet visitors and assist with check-in and directions.
• Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail; prepare outgoing mail.
• Maintain and update computer files related to associates and residents.

Anticipated pay range

$18 - $18 USD
