Job summary

DOCS Dermatology Group is seeking a Medical Receptionist to greet patients, manage phones, verify insurances, and support the front desk with data entry in our EHR system. You will collaborate with providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role emphasizes customer service, accurate data collection, and professional communication in a busy dermatology setting. On-site position with standard clinic hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with medical terminology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answering multi-line phones
• Greeting patients and vendors
• Signing patients in and out, obtaining insurance information and any other necessary data
• Data entry into EHR systems.
• Scheduling appointments on the phone and at checkout desks
• Collecting outstanding balances and copays
• Providing patients with support and guidance as needed
• Maintaining safe, secure and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
• Prepare provider schedules
• Verify Insurances

Summary

Medical Receptionists directly interact with patients collecting and providing information concerning the patients’ medical care. Receptionists also work closely with other staff to ensure effective communication.
