Job summary

Colibri Group is seeking part-time Real Estate Instructors to teach pre-licensing and continuing education courses at our Scottsdale and Glendale campuses, using ASREB materials. Courses are scheduled mornings, evenings, and weekends, with classes taught in person and via Zoom.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a licensed real estate professional and hold an active AZ license; DREI certification is a plus. Instructors are paid hourly based on class hours.

Qualifications

• Active AZ Real Estate license (salesperson or broker) required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or as an attorney.
• Ability to instruct in onsite classrooms and via Zoom; livestream teaching experience preferred.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking part-time Real Estate Instructors to instruct in-person and online courses, utilizing content and course materials provided by ASREB, to teach pre-licensing and continuing education courses for our Scottsdale and Glendale, Arizona campuses.

Classes are scheduled in the mornings, evenings, and weekends, and the length of each class is dictated based on the number of required hours. The instructor is paid an hourly rate based on the number of hours in the class.

What You'll Do

• Instruct assigned courses according to the course plan
• Actively engage with students, both in the classroom and online
• Utilize strong understanding with webinar/livestreaming technology and online instruction
• Recommend strategies for success and assist students in meeting course objectives

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a licensed real estate salesperson, broker, or as an attorney required
• Active Arizona Real Estate license (salesperson or broker) required
• Prior experience teaching pre-license or continuing education courses in AZ strongly preferred
• Computer with an HD camera and microphone required
• Quiet, dedicated office space with strong internet connection required
• Ability to instruct in an onsite classroom and via Zoom required
• Livestream teaching experience preferred
• DREI certification preferred
• Experience or qualifications in the areas of law, finance, or appraisal for those specific courses preferred
