Job summary

Colibri Group, through Hondros College of Real Estate, is seeking a part-time Real Estate Instructor in Columbus, OH. In this role you will lead in-person and online courses, teaching pre-licensing material to help students pass state exams using Hondros content.

Expected commitment is 20 to 40 hours per month with weekend and evening classes, including on-site and online formats. An active license 5+ years is required, and teaching experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Real Estate license for 5+ years
• Previous instruction and/or training experience preferred
• Flexibility to teach weekend and evening classes
• Ability to work long days (i.e., 8am-5:30pm, 6-10:30pm, up to 4 days per month)
• Computer with an HD camera and microphone required
• Quiet, dedicated office space with strong internet connection required

Position Overview

The Real Estate Instructor position is a part-time role with an estimated time commitment of 20 to 40 hours per month. Our instructors help students understand material by leading insightful lessons and answering questions. They instruct in-person and online courses, utilizing content created by Hondros to teach pre-licensing classes to help students pass their state real estate exams.

• Review class syllabus to ensure it follows the designed curriculum plan and explains course requirements

• Participate in faculty curriculum and ad-hoc meetings
