Job summary

Delta-T Group is seeking teachers for the 2026-27 school year. The role involves planning, teaching, and evaluating instruction for students, working in classroom settings, and meeting students at designated locations and times. You will use positive communication, maintain confidentiality, and follow existing lesson plans to provide a cohesive learning experience.

Starting pay ranges from $27 to $40 per hour, with hours Monday–Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to comply with written and/or oral instructions.
• Ability to create an efficient working relationship with other personnel.
• Proficiency in maintaining efficient classroom management skills.
• Willingness to stand for most hours of the day, or sit for extensive periods of time.
• Full capability to give instructions in the absence of the main teacher.

Responsibilities

• Plan, teach, and evaluate instruction for students.
• Work with students in classroom settings.
• Meet and instruct students in the locations and at the times designated.
• Use positive verbal and non-verbal skills that enhance learning.
• Model non-discriminatory practices in all activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, or parent/guardian in all public settings.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by program/building administrator(s) in accordance with school policies and practices.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular Teacher to create a cohesive and consistent learning experience for students.
• Manage the classroom effectively to encourage student participation, minimize distractions and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching methods to fit the needs of each individual student.
• Supervise students in and out of the classroom, including in the halls, on the playground and in the cafeteria.
